Stihl Shop Mt Maunganui is part of the well-known Stihl franchise, but they wanted to carve out their own space online and rank higher in local search, rather than just relying on the national group website. The challenge was to create a site with its own personality while still fitting within Stihl’s overall brand guidelines.

We started with website design that kept things fun, inviting, and true to Stihl’s brand, while also giving the Mt Maunganui branch its own voice. A big part of the project was photography - we captured the service team in action to highlight the personal, expert service they’re known for locally.

To give the site some energy, we used a video hero section and designed custom web tiles that add character but still play by Stihl’s brand rules. The site was fully SEO optimised for their location and top products, helping them show up in local searches for "Stihl Shop Mt Maunganui" and related terms.
